After a grueling 13 hour drive, 12 or so against the wind all the way to Hot Springs, where I got in to the hills and out of the wind, I have finally arrived at my Dad's farm. It was a bit strange to go from a few feet of snow just a 3 days ago to full spring, including some snapdragons already in bloom. From what I have been told, it is just about summer temperatures back at home.
Bright sunny day today, with little on my agenda other than resting up for the final leg of the trip tomorrow. I may well get out and do a bit of hiking out in the woods, as well as check out the changes here since last I visited.
